Storm Damage in Madison, MO

After a strong thunderstorm in Madison, this home's basement was severely flooded. It also suffered from the sewer backing up. We first began extracting water then started taking moisture readings on the walls and flooring. In the first picture, you can't tell that anything is wrong. Due to the extensive damage and sewage being present, we had to remove the vanity and part of the drywall as seen in the second photo. The flooring was also removed. We took out the toilet and placed it in the shower as both were able to be saved. We always save what we can but somethings always have to be removed for the safety of the homeowners!
